statement of faith

  • The divine inspiration of the Holy Bible, of sixty-six books of the Old Testament and New Testament, as the infallible Word of God, its consequent uniqueness, entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
  • One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • The full deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His representative and substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection and personal return is glory to consummate His kingdom.
  • The dignity of humans, made in the image of God, their universal sinfulness, their need of repentance, redemption and justification through faith alone in Christ crucified and rise from the dead.
  • The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, enabling Christians to witness effectively to the Gospel and to serve responsibly in the world.
  • The unity in our Lord Jesus of all believers, who comprise the Church.
  • We believe there is but one true and living God. He is revealed to us as the co-eternal Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • In the authoritative, inerrant, all-sufficient Scriptures. We believe the Scriptures of the old and New Testament are the inspired. Word of God and our rule of faith and practice.
  • We believe that God created the heaven and the earth in six days and that He rules over all His creation by His sovereign power.
  • We believe that by Adams sin the whole human race was plunged into a state of condemnation and that being dead in sin, man is unable to recover himself from his fallen condition.
  • We believe in the fullness of time that Jesus Christ came to redeem those that were given Him by the Father and that He laid down His life for His sheep. By Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which they could not be justified by the law.
  • We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and of the resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust and that the happiness for the righteous and the suffering of the wicked will be everlasting.
